We have been holding captain courses since 2003 in the little town of Rogoznica on the Croatian coast. So far, we have completed many successful runs. After obtaining a licence with an unlimited time validity, you may pilot a water vessel (using motor and/or sails) up to the gross registered weight of 30 nett tonnes.
Accommodation of participants
Participants are accommodated in our comfy apartments in Rogoznica, one to two persons per apartment. In each apartment, there is a fully fitted kitchen, a dining room with a collapsible sofa, 1 - 2 bedrooms, the same number of bathrooms, and a balcony. The building is situated 50 m from the sea.
The theoretical training takes place on land, while the practical part takes place upon our luxury Nauticat motor sailing ships.
The exam is taken in Czech or English (with an interpreter) at the Croatian port authority in Trogir - 15 km from Rogoznica.
Dinner is served on the shared terrace in the form of barbecued and grilled Croatian specialties. Other meals must be provided by each participant individually. In proximity to the apartments, there are restaurants and coffee houses, as well as a bakery and a well-provisioned grocery.
Transportation to Croatia and back is not included.
In your free time, you can go surfing or swimming, or rent a scooter to go sightseeing to the picturesque town of Rogoznica, with many shops and restaurants as well as the yacht port Marina Frapa, awarded the Best Adriatic Port Award, repeatedly.
